I met with Angely on Wednesday 1/24 in the lounge of Hecht House. Before meeting, I asked her to gather a list or collection of things that she wanted to work on. She had an old grammar test that had already been graded from a few weeks ago, and she wanted a deeper explanation of her errors. Her first language is Spanish, and that is my other language that I study, so it was very helpful to have that common ground to explain things in greater detail. We also went through a composition she had written and already received a grade on and examined the areas where her sentence structure was weak, grammar was not correct, or her ideas were not expressed very clearly.
