I observed a Group 2 reading class taught by Ryan Wilson. The class began with a WOTD and a brief review of a few words introduced in the previous class. Students volunteered to demonstrate the words used in sentences aloud; I was asked to explain why the words were used correctly, incorrectly, or awkwardly. For the main activity, students read a short article about the brain. They were given 10 minutes to read it and then asked to describe what the article as about without looking at it. After this, students used a form to outline the essay by paragraph. I assisted the instructor in observing the process and offering feedback.
