Nadine and I met during lunch, and this time I brought Pretz sticks for us to share. Originally, we were going to go over the homework that her teacher assigned over the weekend, but she forgot to bring it, so we just talked. She was excited to watch The Greatest Showman, an event that CIES center put on. I had seen it too, so I asked her to tell me what she thinks the next time we meet.

She doesn't make a lot of mistakes when speaking, but I find that she sticks to what is mostly familiar. When there are certain phrases she cannot articulate, I encourage her to work though it, because as with any language, comprehension is most important, more than correct vocabulary, grammar or syntax. I can understand her fine most of the time, which is great! We agreed that when we meet next Monday, we will go over a speaking presentation coming up, so she can practice with me.
