On 7 February 2018 I observed Calyn's grammar class for level 3B students. In the class, everybody was very animated and into the lesson. Calyn has amazing control in the class and manages to keep a warm demeanor while still being a very serious teacher. She spoke clearly and was very expressive, and I could tell the students were very enagaged with her. She went over a quiz that the students most recently took over adjective clauses. She pulled some beautiful mistakes that the students made on the quiz and went over them on the board. The students were confident in correcting the mistakes even when their guesses were not quite correct. Calyn was definitely an amazing grammar teacher and I aspire to be as good as her one day.
