January 1/31. We decided to just go ahead and stay for another hour tutoring session, because we were both feeling really motivated. For some of this time, I wanted to work with Elaine on pronunciation and more clear speech. Some things she says she did not enunciate fully, and some times her English seems to jumble together so we practiced some general tongue twisters.

 I then examined another one of her writing assignments for the rest of the session. I used the same methodology of highlighting errors and having her figure out what needed to be done to fix them. We went over lots of irregular verbs and when to use which forms.
