Cameron CP#6

I met Jaiyoung on the 28th of February in front of the Bellamy building for the final time. She mentioned that they were asking her to start signing up for more conversation partners in March, but we can keep communicating on Facebook because she enjoyed me so much. After she said this, I asked her what her favorite thing about me is to which she replied that she thinks I am hilarious and I helped her understand sarcasm since I use it so much. Somehow the conversation led to talking about tv shows. Since I love cinema, I talked about all the shows I watch such as Game of Thrones, Westworld, and Lost. When I said "Lost" she got really excited because she has watch the entire show. I found it incredible that people can have such little in common culturally, yet feel connected when discussing something we like. We talked about the last season of the show and what we both feel it means through our own interpretation since it was so vague. I said goodbye with a phrase they always used in “Lost” which is “See you in the next life.” However, it does not literally mean “the next life.” It is more to express that when we see each other again we could be completely different people with new perspectives that life has given us, yet, we will still be friends.
