Cameron TS #2

On February 9th, Diana and I met at the Leon County Library once again. Last session we talked about cookie butter and how delicious it was, and she brought me a tiny cup from Belgium. I wish I had a better gift to reciprocate, but I only had a study guide of the tenses, examples, and when to use them. I did not plan to go over the tenses today, but I wanted to give her something for when she was struggling to read or write English that she could refer to. I learned from my conversation partner that these types of simplified study guides are very helpful at reminding us jog our memories of information we have already learned. We dived into the lesson (since/for/ago) and I covered when to use each and how they are used. My biggest concern was that I could never tell if she understood when to use them until I asked her to give me an example in a sentence. Then, when I saw that she was grasping the material, I felt very accomplished especially when she started using the correct word when speaking.
