Diana
and I met on February 23 at the Leon County Library near downtown. Diana wanted
to go over some over her homework and asked me to help her with her rough draft
about global warming. She had to ask various students what they thought global
warming, fossil fuel, and carbon emissions were. Since the professor had
already corrected the rough draft using the writing correction codes, I checked
to see if she was making the same mistakes over again. One of the biggest
issues was her inability to use the correct tenses appropriately. So,
I asked what she thought was the correct tense could be. If she couldn’t figure
it out, I would try to have her break the sentence down to lead her to the correct
answer. After, she asked me have a conversation with her and error correct when
she made a mistake using the incorrect tense of a verb.
Good job.
