Shani CP #3

Today I met with Talal for the first time. We met up at Starbucks after he was done with class at CIES. It was funny because we accidentally went to two different ones! Once we realized the mistake, he ended up coming to the one I was at. We had a very interesting conversation about what he wants to do after his time at CIES. He is here to learn English because it is a very important skill to have in his country in order to get a good job. He wants to go to University in America and is studying for the TOEFL. He asked me lots of questions of what it's like to study at a University. He is interested in applying to be a student at FSU after he passes the TOEFL, but he is also looking at other universities. Talal also told me about his family back home. He has four brothers and sisters, which sounds like a lot to me but in Kuwait that's a relatively small family. He really enjoys coffee so I told him about some cool coffee shops in Tallahassee! Overall I had a great time!
