I met with Nadine to catch up and I brought donuts to share, while she made us fruit salad! She took the TOEFL last weekend, and she said she'd know the results on Wednesday. I'm assuming she'll take it again, because she signed up for another CIES session. I asked whether other students had the same experience or typically passed it the first time, and it seems as though it's 50/50, some students have to take it twice. She seemed a bit sad about it, but I think she'll do even better the second time around.

She also told me she moved up levels in all her groups, and she is now 3A in speaking! I'm so happy that she is improving! I definitely can tell she is confident in her speaking and writing skills, which are both productive skills! 

I will still be tutoring her the next two months, because I enjoy practicing my teaching skills and also I enjoy her company! We are meeting on Wednesday as well.
