When we first started working together, Susan told me that she struggles with her tenses. Although now she has a better understanding of them than she did at the beginning of the session, she still struggles a little bit. Therefore, today we worked on all of the tenses. We went through all 12 one by one: we went over their structure, when they should be used, and I gave Susan sample sentences. She took notes on all of this information. I think it was helpful because now she has a consolidated sheet with all of the tenses, which she could look back at of she has any questions. I also gave her a practice worksheet which I created to test her comprehension. It was a story with fill-in-the-blank verbs which she had to write in the correct tense.
