Shani TS #12

I decided that today would be a great day for us to work on prepositions, since I noticed that it's one of Susan's weakest points. I found some material online that helped explain when to use which preposition, and she took notes while we went over it. Susan had questions on when to specifically use "for" and "by," so I tried to explain it to her and gave her example sentences to write down. We also went over when to use in, on, and at because she didn't understand when it would be appropriate to use each. Again, I gave her plenty of examples in context and I think she has a better understanding of prepositions now. After this lesson, I proofread one of her essays for composition class using the symbol chart we were given in class. She corrected most of the errors herself, and we went over the ones which she didn't know how to correct together. To end our session, we watched another episode of New Girl because she loved it so much. We paused the show periodically so that she could ask questions and so that I could check her comprehension.
