Shani TS #16

     Today is the last day I will be tutoring Susan until after Spring Break, so we were both pretty sad. We decided to work on reading and composition today, as composition is a class she has been struggling in for the past week. We read two different articles (both were about medicine, since that is an area she is familiar with) and she wrote a summary for each of them. Then, I proofread the summaries she wrote. The first time I read through them, I marked them for fluency. The second time, I marked them for grammar accuracy. I'm really proud of Susan for how far she's come and the confidence she has gained throughout this process. I think she's improved significantly over the past couple of weeks, and I think she has noticed her improvement as well. This has been a great experience!
