Trisha TS #15

Since it's almost out last visit, I wanted to take more time to get to know him. Here and there we talk about things and I've enjoyed learning cultural differences the most overall. But our main focus has been tutoring. I assume we won't meet much afterwards because I'm usually hounding him to meet with me (haha). We talked a bit about Saudi Arabia some more and he showed me pictures of it. It was a picture of a beautiful beach. It was from far away, almost like it was taken from a plane. He told me more about the process of him being here and waiting to get a student visa (i think). He couldn't find the words exactly, but kept saying that the government knew what he was doing and that's why he's allowed to stay in the U.S. for now until he gets accepted as a student. I urged that we get started on some tutoring and he beat around the bush a while longer. I really wanted him to watch some conversational English from a TV show and then write a dictation or dictocomp, but he didn't want to. We worked on some stuff he's working on in class.
